I spotted the long, dark shadows as someone walked past this half wall on the roof and asked everyone to strike a pose. I wish the shadows themselves were a bit sharper, but I love that I'm in there and you can even see the detail of the camera strap hanging down.

Spent a lovely Sunday first helping at Jer's charity booksale and then carving pumpkins on the Rivington rooftop.

urban bocce (.com!)

Fall means it's time for another Urban Bocce Tourney. This time, it was held at Floyd Bennet Field in Brooklyn and on the beach in Far Rockaway, Queens.

Tim and I came into the finals with a buy as the top seeded team, only to loose to the Super Mario Brothers inspired team called Power Up... heartbreaking.

Congrats to Adam and Daz who finally got to kiss the trophy after so many tournaments.
