shower the people you love with love

This weekend my mom and my best friend threw me the most lovely shower. Just a simple affair at my parents' house with a handful of female relatives and girlfriends. We played silly games, talked about weddings and babies, I opened so many overwhelmingly generous gifts. And oh the food... my mom did it almost entirely vegetarian in my honor... we had tea sandwiches, veggie lasagna, quiche, fruit, salads and many other finger foods. Everything was delicious.
